FAQ
Booking, lift pass, cancellation, payment: answers to the questions we are asked most often.
Choose your discipline, ski area and instructor, then your dates. Payment is made online and your booking is confirmed immediately by email.
During French school holidays, lessons are booked as a full-day commitment, from Sunday to Friday. Outside school holidays, you book half-day lessons: morning or afternoon.
Your instructor contacts you the day before the first lesson to arrange the meeting.
No. You buy the lift pass yourself, from the resort, and it remains your responsibility. Skiro does not sell it and never refunds it, whatever the reason for a cancellation or an interrupted lesson.
Equipment is not included either.
Cancellation conditions and the refund schedule depending on notice are set out in our terms and conditions.
In case of force majeure (weather preventing skiing, lifts closed, avalanche risk), the lessons concerned are refunded in full. However, illness or injury of a participant is not force majeure and gives no right to a refund, even with a medical certificate.
A booking made less than 7 days before the start of the lessons is non-refundable. A multi-day commitment cannot be partly cancelled.
Email us with your booking reference and the dates you would like. We review the request according to the instructor’s availability and reply within 12 hours.
Skiro looks for another state-certified instructor of the same level. If no replacement is available, you are refunded in full. If you decline the replacement offered, the lesson is considered provided and is not refunded.
By card, online, through Stripe, our secure payment provider. Skiro never sees or stores your card details. The price displayed is the final price: no fees are added.
Lesson language, time, group, specific level: write to us. We reply within 12 hours.
Lessons are open to children from 3 years old. We do not ask for ages when booking: please make sure every participant is at least 3.
Each resort has its meeting points, shown on a map with directions. Your instructor confirms the meeting point the day before the lesson.
